Meter Data Acquisition System (MDAS)
Meter Data Acquisition System (MDAS) is a centralised data management system that controls and enables management of GPRS modems that gather energy data in real time. It acquired meter data from various models/ makes of energy meters at DTR, LT, HT and feeder locations.
The MDAS data includes information related to billing, load survey, tampering, active/reactive power, system outages/downtime, as well as alerts and alarms.
